Chief Winemaker Bruce Dukes and Senior Winemaker Remi Guise are dedicated to crafting wines that profile the inimitable terroir of the Donnybrook vineyard. Through the scrupulous care of the region’s oldest plantings, the wines of Coughlan Estate are truly made in the vineyard.
Fuelled by the uniqueness of the vineyard site, their yin and yang partnership and decades of winemaking experience come together to honour the treasured yields of the extraordinary microclimate at Coughlan Estate.

A holistic approach to winemaking at Coughlan Estate means there is nothing too outlandish when it comes to processing; there are no frills, no artefacts. The goal is to preserve and express the properties of the old vine plantings.
Remi and Bruce look to create exceptional handcrafted wines with quality oak integrations and ageing capabilities through minimal intervention winemaking which highlights the distinct fruit properties of Coughlan Estate.
